The Lodge received it’s first written invitation and it was from Lodge Kirknewton and Ratho No 85, requesting a deputation of three to attend their Installation of Office-Bearers.

The first candidates from Winchburgh were initiated this evening. They were Hugh Borthwick a miner from Auld Cathie and James Bryce of Craigton Farm.

The Secretary then read a letter from the Linlithgowshire Masonic Bowling Association requesting the names of two representatives for said association but as we have neither bowling green nor practically any bowlers at present, it was agreed not to send any representatives.

It was unanimously agreed to purchase the press for holding Lodge property, which had been sent on approval by Bro. Wallace, Broxburn at two pounds, five shillings, the Treasurer to forward same.
